Introducing Doris Designs
In this month’s blog post we will be showcasing one of clients and their amazing business. Nestled in our Tottenham Hale studios in N17 is the amazing Doris Designs who present their Narnia Hair Studio – a private inclusive, creative space.
We work with many businesses across our various locations and our offices and studios are used by a diverse range of different companies but Doris Designs stands out with the imaginative way they utilize our space. This creative space is simply known as “Narnia”.
Narnia is all about experience. While many other places will cut and style your hair Narnia offers something unique and very hard to replicate. In her own words, it was created to give the guest a feeling of being inside art, relaxed and at home while working in collaboration to bring to life your hair vision.
Doris Designs is not your ordinary hair salon. They offer all types of colouring and cutting services and cater to individual styles offering fashion colours and alternative cuts with interesting shapes and colour combinations. The studio is open from 11am until late and is a 5 minute walk from Tottenham Hale station.
The studio is owned and run by Doris. She comments “Having a studio space where I am given the freedom to decorate, with no limitations gives Narnia a unique identity. I am very grateful to the Greenhouse for this opportunity.”
As you can see, here at the Greenhouse, we go to great lengths to accommodate our client’s needs and help them implement their unique ideas and styles within our workspaces. We have a number of wonderful spaces across our portfolio that are waiting to be utilised.
Doris goes on to say, ”My clients and friends have created beautiful murals on the walls and it is full of colourful plants and artistic expression. A personal, warm approach and attention to detail is something I feel Londoners appreciate. When a client walks in for the first time their reaction is so priceless it really fills me with such pride.”
Doris herself is an educator at the London College of Fashion and teaches Avant Garde hair, wigs and headdresses as well as being on the tools in Narnia. She is also currently entering art competitions with the images she co-created and she is also looking to sell her Avant Garde textbooks in some independent book shops.
